Introducing the Jewish Liberation Fund: Fueling the Jewish movement for justice and liberation.

For centuries, Jews around the world have come together to fight back against oppression, and fulfill the mitzvah – the obligation – of working to create a better world. From Mitzrayim to Shushan, from the streets of Babylon, Vienna, Berlin, and Paris to Johannesburg, Selma, New York, and Ferguson. In the movements for working people, racial justice, feminism, queer and trans liberation, and immigrant justice; in movements against Apartheid, war, fascism, and white supremacy – we have joined with our friends and neighbors in pursuit of a world that offers dignity, safety, and justice for all.
Today, we are writing the next chapter in this story. The Jewish Liberation Fund is working to ensure that today’s Jewish movement for justice and liberation has the resources it needs to grow and thrive, to win powerful victories for humanity, and to bring forth shleimut – wholeness – bimheirah b’yameinu – speedily and in our days.
For too long, Jewish philanthropy has been the domain of the one percent. We are here to change that. The Jewish Liberation Fund is a people’s fund. Led – and funded – by our movement: we are accountable to each other.
We have not made it this far alone, and we need you to carry this movement forward. Join us.
