When it comes to Panettone everyone’s feelings get a little soft. Panettone is an Italian type of sweet bread first originated in Milan in the 15th century, and it has become the Christmas symbol par excellence.
It is in everyone’s home, it is waited and loved all year round by both kids and adults, it is what brings family, friends, strangers together. But most of all, it is filled with one’s favorite memories, emotions and feelings around Christmas.

So you may well understand our excitement when we got involved in creating one star Chef Claudio Sadler advertisement for his own panettone.
We were asked to show some of the making of but also to create some emotional background story around it. We worked closely with Chef Sadler in order to choose some of his own personal memories around Christmas but also about his personality that we could effectively recreate in a visual comparison with the making of recipe.
Oh, did you know that Chef Claudio Sadler actually draws his own culinary creations before making them?

About Chef Sadler:

Claudio Sadler began his career about thirty years ago, when he opened his first restaurant, the “Locanda Vecchia Pavia” in 1982. Since then he has never stopped cooking; he received his first Michelin star in 1991 for the restaurant “Osteria di Porta Cicca” in Milan and his second in 2002 for the same restaurant. Preparing good food for others is a sign of great generosity, a quality not lacking in the chef, who in addition to managing several restaurants in Milan, dedicates part of his time to teaching hopeful young chefs the foundations of the profession.
In addition, in 2018 he was awarded the “Ambrogino d’Oro” award, the highest honor bestowed by the Municipality of Milan for his career dedicated to the common good. Furthermore, since 2012, he has been a member of the “Le Soste” association which is responsible for spreading the excellence of Italian cuisine around the world.
