Summer 2023 Trip to the Hawaiian Islands

We traveled to the Hawaiian Islands with a short stay on Oahu and a week in both the Big Island and Maui. We were joined by Baba and Jiji.

Day 4 (7/6/2023):
We went to explore Maku’u Point for sunrise. For our first beach day on the Big Island we went to visit Richardson Ocean Park. On our way there, we stopped by KTA Super Store to pick-up food from the deli counter for lunch, it was a mix of Chinese food and a turkey dinner. Richardson Ocean Park is a black sand beach with ample parking, facilities and a lifeguard. It’s a good snorkeling spot and the kids enjoyed fishing and seeing a turtle swim by.
