For two people who first met their freshman year of high school, Victor and Chieamy’s wedding day was a much-anticipated occasion. More than a decade of dating had led to this day. They had already seen so much life together – growing up, graduating high school, attending college, being there for the start of each other’s career. Now, back in the same town where they first met, under a brilliantly blue sky on a bright and vivid summer day, they professed their love for one another and officially became husband and wife.
Their story of knowing one another and falling in love was so apparent throughout their wedding day. The entry table of photos displayed the years they spent together. The letters they wrote to one another recounting the moment they knew each other was the one. Friends and family from all the stages of their relationship – high school, college, coworkers – all gathered together in the same room to celebrate their love.
The perfect balance of reminiscing on the past and looking forward to their future together. They always knew this day would come. Maybe it feels like everything and nothing has changed.
